Guided by the development philosophy of “innovation, coordination, green development, openness, and shared benefits,” and with the goal of enhancing national quality and public health, the Chess and Card Games Administration Center of the General Administration of Sport of China has put forward two key strategic initiatives: “making traditional chess and card games more engaging” and “turning recreational chess and card games into competitive events.” These efforts are helping to promote the widespread participation in these sports and to advance the cause of physical education.

Guided by this very principle, the Changsha City Competitive Poker Association was established to create a dedicated, green, and healthy platform for poker enthusiasts. Following its founding, the association will promote the widespread participation in and elevate the standard of poker in Changsha, with a strong focus on fostering a culture of intellectual sports and recreational activities for the general public.
